Potomac Communications Group, Inc. Founded in 1981, PCG specializes in energy, environment, technology and complex or controversial issues facing legislative, regulatory or public opinion threats. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Assist business manager with:  

  • Receiving vendor invoices 
  • Coding invoices 
  • Entering invoices into ABAK and Sage 
  • Ensure coding sheet is signed by account manager 
  • Process and mail signed checks  
  • Process and post ACH vendor invoices 
  • Create expense backups of client charges 

In addition to assisting the business manager one may: 

  • Manage monthly credit card reconciliation  
  • Update various in-house management reports 
  • Update client contract management reports  
  • File completed invoices 
  • Provide front desk coverage as needed 
  • Assist with various tasks as needed 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must be enrolled in, or recent graduate, from an accredited college or university 
  • Studying or interested in a career in business or finance 
  • Self-starter with an eye for attention to detail and organization 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel 
  • Experience with accounting, and time and billing platforms a plus 
  • Ability to organize, multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
